TV.com summary |
Flavor of Love is an American reality television dating game show starring Flavor Flav of the rap group Public Enemy. The show is part of VH1's Celebreality lineup and its format is similar to that of The Bachelor, with contestants living in Flavor Flav's Hollywood mansion and being put through various challenges while Flav chooses to keep or eliminate them. He is helped in his quest by his bodyguard and chauffeur, "Big Rick," his mother, and his former romantic partner, Brigitte Nielsen.
Unlike The Bachelor, each contestant is given a nickname by Flav (due to his self-admitted drug problem and his ensuing bad memory), and is referred to by that nickname for as long as they remain in the competition. Such nicknames include Hoopz, New York, Pumkin, Goldie, Smiley, Hottie, Red Oyster, Sweetie, Peaches, Serious, Georgia, Rain, Dimplez, Miss Latin, Apples, Bubblez, Shellz, Cherry, Picasso, and Smokey. When a contestant is eliminated, her real name is then revealed. Another difference from The Bachelor is instead of a rose ceremony, where roses are given to contestants that survive elimination, there is a clock ceremony where contestants that are not eliminated receive gold clocks to wear around their necks with their picture on them.

Episode | Title | Original Air Date | Summary | Eliminated |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Fifteen Beds and a Bucket of Puke | January 1, 2006 | The twenty contestants arrive at the mansion to discover that there are only fifteen beds. When naming the girls, the first person to receive her name is "Oyster," which the girl dislikes. Flav gives all of the girls nicknames, but cannot think of one for one girl, who tells him she likes SCUBA diving, so he names her 'Shellz'. Oyster then reveals that she has worn red clothing every day for six years straight, and decides to call herself "Red Oyster." Hottie is very aggressive with Flav, which Flav likes. New York makes a comment about all of the girls being "a pack of idiot b****es," which started the spark for being the villain. Goldie drinks too much champagne, vomits, and passes out, but Rain is at her side and eventually straightens her out for eliminations. Hottie is the first to receive a clock, and Rain manages to get Goldie standing in time for the elimination ceremony, and she is the last person to receive her clock. On her way out Cherry cries and wonders how the girl who "blew f**king chunks stays". |
Bubblez (April), Cherry (Miko), Picasso (Sarah), Shellz (Amber), Smokey (Johanna), |
2 | Rub a Dub Flav | January 8, 2006 | The fifteen remaining contestants engage in a competition where Flav has 10 minutes to spend with each woman in a private hot tub. In the van on the way to the resort, Rain and New York get into a heated argument over New York's unfriendliness toward the other contestants. At the resort, contestants prepare themselves and their hot tub with candles and drinks to keep Flav entertained. Some of the hot tub settings are nice, but some a strange, such as Hotties. Flav states "Hottie is very 'dramatical'. She tried to 'hypmotize' me!" In the end, Flav picks Smiley, New York, and Miss Latin for a private roller skaing date, where Smiley reveals she was previously married. Later at the house, Pumkin and New York get into a fight and Pumkin runs to Flav for consolation. Red Oyster passes along information to Flav that Miss Latin has been calling her ex-boyfriend from the house. It should be noted that Apples and Dimplez's names are never revealed. |
Rain (Thela), Miss Latin (Xotchitl), Apples (Melanie), Dimplez (Margaret), Georgia (Jefandi), |
3 | A Friend of Flav's is a Friend of Mine | January 15, 2006 | Flav takes the women to visit some of his "old friends" as well as some "new friends". The four contestants who are taken to meet Flav's "old friends" suspect that they will be meeting his celebrity friends (most notably the other members of Public Enemy) but are surprised when they arrive at a senior center where their challenge is to care for and socialize with the elderly. Some girls have fun with the challenge, while some, such as New York, are uncomfortable. Sweetie wins and surprises Flav with her refusal to kiss him. The six contestants that go to meet Flav's "new friends" are taken to a park where they are challenged to organize and execute a birthday party for young children. Though Goldie thought she would win, everyone was surprised when Serious did. New York walks out of the senior citizen center when a woman asks her for help with her false teeth, and Pumkin, a substitute teacher, cries after Flav says she was the most distant when playing with the children. New York accuses Hottie of stealing her jacket. Hottie rebuffs New York, saying New York is just jealous, because Hottie believes she looks like Beyoncé. New York tells her she looks more like Luther Vandross. Neither girl is happy when Flav gives them both clocks. Serious does not receive a clock because Red Oyster informs Flav that she believes that she is only here to further her career in modeling. |
Peaches (Kim), Serious (Crystal), |
4 | The Flavor of Chicken | January 22, 2006 | The contestants try to impress Flav's mother by accompanying her to church, introducing themselves over tea and pastries at a tea room and by attempting to cook fried chicken. Hottie ends up attempting to cook her chicken in the microwave, stuffed with raw vegetables, leaving it raw during the presentation to Flav and his mother. Red Oyster says "She thought the button that said 'chicken' meant that it would cook an entire chicken." Goldie, however, says "B**** IS CRAZY!" Hoopz wins the cooking competition, though Sweetie did great as well. She is disappointed because she hates chickens after a chicked incident when she was five, and is angry that she cooked a chicken for nothing. Hoopz then has dinner with Flav and his mother, who warms up to Hoopz after not liking her in the beginning. Sweetie is eliminated, as Flav doubts whether she really likes him. Sweetie throws a tantrum as she exits the house and the other girls are shocked. |
Sweetie (Tika) |
5 | What Happens in Flavor Stays in Flavor | January 29, 2006 | Flav takes the girls to Las Vegas to test their luck, literally, at a roulette table. New York won the most money for Flav, and earned herself a one-on-one date with him that night. New York confesses her love for Flav, and Flav is troubled when New York admits that she would be upset if he were to kiss other women. Flav is turned off by New Yorks jealous ways. While New York and Flav were on the date, Hoopz, Goldie, Hottie, Red Oyster, Pumkin, and Smiley went to a strip club. Hoopz is convinced Red Oyster is going to tattle on them for going there. When they return from Vegas, Flav organizes a "Five Senses" challenge. Smiley wins, and spends time with Flav in his hot tub. During the elimination ceremony at the end of the episode, Red Oyster announces that she is eliminating herself from the competition to be with her father, who she has just found out was in a serious car accident. Flav tells Red Oyster he is sorry to see her go because he would have saved her from elimination. New York and Hottie had not received clocks at that time, and were saved from elimination, even though one of them was scheduled to leave that night. New York was truobled because she desperately wanted to know if she would have received a clock or not. |
Red Oyster (Abigail) |
6 | InterroGitted | February 12, 2006 | Flav's old flame, Brigitte Nielsen, visits the house to administer lie detector tests to each contestant. While having his hair braided, Flav sees Hottie on an episode of Blind Date, where she states that she is looking to date a man who will spend money on her. He calls Hoopz, Smiley, Pumkin and Goldie, who happened to be nearby, into his bedroom, and they are shocked at what they see. Later, Pumkin reveals to the girls that she has also been on Blind Date, but doesn't tell Flav. The lie detector test shows that Hottie lied about her age and her body measurements. Goldie is the only one who is completely truthful on her test, though Smiley was honest in admitting she still loved her ex husband and was previously a stripper. Hoopz spends the majority of the night arguing with Brigitte Nielsen, and abruptly leaves a dinner Brigitte threw in their honor, but Hoopz manages to escape elimination. Smiley reveals her past as an exotic dancer, then argues with New York after admitting that she still has feelings for her ex-husband. New York passes this information on to Flav, but refuses to mention Smiley directly. Pumkin readily volunteers Smiley's name. When Flav meets with Brigitte, she tells Flav that none of the girls are right for him. Flav eliminates Hottie for not being truthful and Smiley for having issues with her ex-husband. |
Hottie (Schatar), Smiley (Leilene) |
7 | Flav's Trippin | February 19, 2006 | The four remaining contestants go on an overnight trip with Flav. First, Pumkin and Hoopz go with Flav to a spa in Palm Springs, California where they do yoga, mud body painting, and then all enjoy a clean-up shower together. During dinner, Pumkin uses Hoopz's restroom break as her opportunity to give Flav a personal letter. After reading it, he later informs Hoopz that he and Pumkin are heading back to his room to spend the night together. For the second trip, Flav takes Goldie and New York to San Diego, where they visit the San Diego Zoo and Flav chooses to spend the night with Goldie, though she just wants to be his friend. Flav and Goldie leave on very good terms, and Goldie gives heartfelt goodbye hugs to Pumkin and Hoopz. This is one of the calmest elimination ceremonies in the show's history. |
Goldie (Courtney) |
8 | Family Flavors | February 26, 2006 | Flav goes on outings with each girl and her parents. He takes Pumkin and her mother to get a manicure and a pedicure, takes Hoopz and her mother to Medieval Times, and takes New York and her parents to the Santa Malibu Tennis Resort. During Pumkin's outing, her mother reveals to Flav that Pumkin had also appeared on Blind Date, a fact that was known to the other girls, but not to Flav. Hoopz expresses her feeling that if she doesn't hook up with Flav at the end of the day, her mother might, since they took to themselves quite a bit. On the way to the tennis resort, New York's mother proclaims that her daughter has gotten fat, which embarrasses New York. Flav does not hit it off with New York's mother, who loudly expresses her objections to any possibility of her daughter marrying Flav.
Pumkin's failure to tell Flav about her past appearance on Blind Date leads to her elimination at the end of the episode. During the elimination ceremony, a near-brawl ensues between her and New York when Pumkin claims New York is an aspiring actress. Pumkin then spits in New York's face, causing New York to push her into the cameras. New York pulls off one of her high heels and prepares to go outside to "beat the bitch's ass," but is stopped by the camera crew. Outside the mansion, Pumkin states that she no longer cares for Flav and if he should pick New York in the end, he would get what he deserves. She also threatens to come back to the show with a gun to shoot New York. She later denies that on her myspace page, stating that her VH1 contract entitled them to cut off the rest of her words when they like. In an interview with The Bakersfield Californian (may require free registration), Pumkin denies spitting in New York's face. She claims to have been told by producers that she would be leaving before this was filmed and to give them a "big ending." She asked what kind of an ending they wanted and they suggested spitting. She also claims that the spit was digitally enhanced. Regardless, the incident is considered the most shocking and popular moment of the entire series. This episode is also notable for the fact that two of the parents slip and reveal the real names of their daughters on air. |
Pumkin (Brooke) |
9 | Flavor of Decision | March 12, 2006 | The final two contestants, Hoopz and New York, take a trip to Mexico with Flav. They each get a 24-hour period to spend alone with Flav, and the first to go is New York. Flav decides to test her (because of her dislike for the outdoors) by taking her to a secluded beach for some kayaking. Later, during dinner, Flav gives New York a necklace with her show name on it. They then head back to the hotel, where the determined New York decides to share his bed that night. Hoopz has her date with Flav the next day, and they ride zip lines through the jungle. During their dinner, Hoopz also receives a necklace and they proceed to spend the evening cuddling.
After returning from Mexico, the women are treated (separately) to a day of dress shopping and getting their hair done for the impending final elimination ceremony. At the elimination, both women arrive wearing the same dress, and make comments about how bad it looks on the other. After being certain that neither woman will be angry with him for choosing the other, Flav apologizes to New York and tells her that his choice is Hoopz (Nicole Alexander). New York spends the limo ride questioning if it really just happened that way, and questioning why Flav would do that to her. Back in the house, Flav presents Hoopz with a set of gold teeth that match his own. |
New York (Tiffany) |
10 | After the Lovin' | April 2, 2006 | All of the contestants are invited back to talk and take a look at highlights of the season, including the vomiting, the infamous spitting, and general cat-fighting. Many of the early cuts on the show such as Apples, Dimplez and Picasso look out of place at the reunion. Cherry is taken backstage because she started to bicker with New York. Host La La, believing that Red Oyster (who is now known to be Flav's lookout) has her own secrets that need to be revealed, announces to everyone that Red Oyster was married while on the show. Oyster claims to be divorced, both now and then. Flav believes her, but the other former contestants do not. Serious, a model before the show, maintains that she was genuinely interested in Flav and was not on the show to boost her career. New York and Pumkin take turns insulting each other. New York attempts to attack Pumkin, but security guards restrain her. Hoopz reveals that her connection with Flav was not "that" sort of connection, and, in turn, Flav announces that there is going to be a second season of the series, where he will once again attempt to find "the next great love of his life." |
The complete first season came out on DVD on August 29, 2006. It is a 3-Disc Unrated edition with extra features.
[edit] Season 2
After the first season ended, Flavor took Hoopz to London to spend some time with him while he completed a small tour with Public Enemy. While there, Flavor asked her to accompany him on a trip to Hawaii. Hoopz, an aspiring model/actress who had been receiving considerable attention from magazines and other men, informed him that she wouldn't be going, as her newfound career was more important than Flavor. Flavor then called his producers, furious that he had been duped. "Get me 20 more!" He screamed into the phone. "I went through all that and I ended up with nothin'! Get me 20 more!" The second season premiered on August 6, 2006. Filming began in May 2006 in Los Angeles and consists of a 11 episode season.[1]
VH1 uploaded videos of contestant auditions on IFilm [2] and encouraged viewers to rank the contestants.
The show premiered with 3.9 million viewers. The series season finale was the highest non-sports related cable program of the year drawing over 7.5 million viewers which is the highest rated show in VH1 history
In September of 2006, the reunion show was taped in a secret location outside of Burbank, California. However, several cast members were asked to leave due to their constant disturbances.
On November 28, 2006 the complete second season was released onto DVD. Many people have complained due to the reunion being excluded from the DVD. VH1 states that the DVD was completed before the reunion was filmed.

2 | Flav is Blind | August 13, 2006 | Flavor Flav challenges his remaining fourteen Flavorettes to a blind speed dating competition so he can get to know them without appearance being a factor. But things fall apart when Flav realizes he can't eat something he can't see. The girls are given ten minutes each to leave a lasting impression on Flav as he stumbles from table to table. In the end, Flav chooses Tiger, Like Dat, and Buckwild as the winners while indulging on a bucket of KFC.
The next day, the three girls that won the speed dating competition accompany Flav on a group date to the "Gonzoleers" (gondolas) in the LBC. Flav tries to stick to the tradition of kissing all the girls as they pass under the bridges, but Tiger has no interest in kissing Flav. Later that evening, Toasteee gives Flav advice on who he should eliminate, and Flav takes that into consideration that night in the elimination ceremony. Spunkeey cries hard when she is eliminated and is sad that he kept "the beauty queen over her" and the "girls who want to have sex with other girls". |

"Spunkeey" (Maria) |
3 | She Works Hard for Her Honey | August 20, 2006 | Flav divides the girls into two groups. The first group, Buckwild, Krazy, Toasteee, Somethin', Bootz, and Deelishis have to work at one of Flav's favorite restaurants. Somethin' gets fired for not taking it seriously, and Bootz wins the challenge. The next day, the second group has to clean a disgusting house after a crazy party the night before. The group consists of Beatuful, Buckeey, Tiger, Payshintz, Nibblz, and Like Dat. They find out they are cleaning hip hop legend Warren G's house. The winner is Nibblz, and she and Flav have a king and queen dinner. Bootz and Payshintz then start fighting because Payshintz keeps making remarks about going home to "get with" a Chinese man. Bootz tells Flav that Tiger, Somethin', and Payshintz should all go home. Flav takes this into consideration, and eliminates Tiger and Somethin'. He has a clock for Payshintz as well, but she chooses not to accept it because she can't take the drama with Bootz anymore. | "Tiger" (Britney)
"Somethin" (Tykeisha) "Payshintz" (Jasmine) |
4 | Jelly on the Telly | August 27, 2006 | The episode begins on the night of the previous elimination, when Toasteee and Nibblz share Flav's bed that night. In the morning, Flav holds a hip-hop danceoff contest. The girls are divided into three teams of three each. In the end, Krazy, Nibblz, and Deelishis end up winning. Each girl gets a private date with Flav; that night, Krazy goes with him on a romantic candlelit dinner to KFC, Nibblz spends the next morning in his bedroom and has breakfast with him, and Deelishis goes with him to a strawberry field.
In the meantime, Toasteee tells the other girls that the night before, she heard noises and concluded that Nibblz was giving Flav a handjob. Nibblz retaliates by revealing to Flav that Toasteee apparently admitted that she has done pornography and can be found on the internet and in a magazine. Toasteee denies the allegations, so Flav does some internet research to see who's lying. In the meantime, Toasteee goes to Flav, letting him know that she's leaving because she can't handle the drama anymore. Flav tells Toasteee that if she leaves now, she's basically implying that Nibblz was right. In turn, Toasteee agrees to stay. In that evening's eliminations, Flav has both girls promise they're telling the truth. But right after that, Flav holds up a pornographic picture of Toasteee. Everyone is shocked. Toasteee claims that it's not necessarily evidence against her as she leaves. |

5 | Famous Friends and Strangeness | September 3, 2006 | This episode starts with the girls finding out that they must throw a party for some of Flav's famous friends. Like Dat confronts Buckwild about her speech patterns, claiming that she is talking like she's black and that it isn't how she really talks, but Buckwild says that she's not a fake. Buckeey, Like Dat, and Buckwild get into a fight about Buckeey and Deelishis not working hard. After all the fights, the girls are excited to find out who will be coming to the party. The special guests are Three 6 Mafia, Warren G, Don Magic Juan, DJ Quik, Ying Yang Twins, and G-Unit. During the party, Three 6 Mafia asks Krazy to sing one of Flav's songs. She says she knows one of them, but she can't sing it. Bootz and Krazy have a fight about Krazy being real or not. Like Dat and Buckwild then get into the same argument again. Buckwild says that when she is around different races of people, her voice changes. She then wants to leave but Like Dat convinces her to stay. Flav spends time with Buckeey, Bootz, and Like Dat before elimination. However, Like Dat is sent home because Flav could only see her as a friend. The girls are then shocked to find out that another guest will be joining them for tomorrow: season one's New York. | "Like Dat" (Darra) |
6 | Who Loves New York | September 10, 2006 | This episode starts on the night of the previous elimination, when New York returns to visit and help with elimination. The girls all remember Season 1, so they are not pleased that New York is here. The next morning, the girls are invited to the studio of URB magazine for a photography shoot. New York reviews how the girls are dressed, and has negative things to say about every one of them. When the girls go to the studio, New York has a confrontation with Buckwild. Flav takes Buckwild's side, and New York runs out of the building, but Flav consoles her later. Later on New York gets into a semi physical confrontation with Krazy, which Flav steps in to put an end to. New York goes on to give Flav advice on elimination, and Flav holds it in regard that night.
At the eliminations, Flav eliminates Beatuful because she seemed too reserved, and Nibblz because Flav thinks she isn't a good role model for his children. Flav decides to welcome New York back as a full-time contestant, at which point Buckwild returns her clock, out of fear that things would get out of control and she would violate her probation. |

They choose Krazy and New York, and as a result, neither of them get dates that evening. They pick Krazy because they think she is fake. New York is picked because she came in the end, and they felt that she wouldn't be a good mom for Flav's children. So the first date is with Buckeey. Flav takes Buckeey to a bowling alley, and teaches her how to bowl. The second date is with Bootz. Flav has a romantic evening with Bootz in the backyard. But, Bootz tells Flav that she is going to wait until she gets married to have sex. Flav is shocked and upset by this. The next day, Deelishis is getting ready for her date. When New York comes in and argues with her for saying that New York is fake. Big Rick must come in to split them apart. When New York leaves, she says that she just ruined Deelishis's date. But, Deelishis and Flav have a great time on an exotic camel ride date. Buckeey and Krazy then get into a dangerous fight about Krazy talking about Bootz, Buckeey, and Deelishis to New York. Buckeey almost pushes Krazy off of the balcony. New York laughs, and tries to break them apart. At the elimination ceremony, Buckeey is eliminated for almost pushing Krazy off of the balcony. New York then states her plan. Which is that Deelishis will be her next "victim" and then Bootz will be the next "victim". She also states that Krazy thinks that they are friends, but New York is just using Krazy to eliminate the other girls. | "Buckeey" (Shay) |
8 | Steppin' Out Flav Style | September 24, 2006 | The episode begins with Bootz and Deelishis still in their beds discussing their disdain for New York being a part of the competition. After the talk all the girls go downstairs where Rick delivers the Flav-O-Gram which New York reads. Flav pairs Deelishis and Krazy for the first date to LBC. As usual New York becomes openly upset and goes upstairs. After she leaves Deelishis snides that New York is a "looney" but soon afterward Deelishis follows New York to the balcony where she is standing visibly upset that she hasn't had a date with Flav in four days. The conversation is short but almost escalates into a confrontation after Deelishis tells New York to redirect her hostility. After the discussion Krazy and Deelishis set off for their date with Flav. When they get there Flav greets them and the two climb aboard the yacht. Flav eventually makes out with Deelishis which makes Krazy upset. But soon Deelishis leaves Flav's side, seasick. Krazy and Flav speak intimately. After they get off the yacht Flav takes the girls to the RMS Queen Mary for accommodations where the girls prepare for dinner. During dinner Flav asks Krazy how she feels about him and what she feels they share in common. When she fails to answer approriately, he asks her to sing. She says she would love a record deal, but doesn't have the money. Afterward he asks Deelishis how she feels about him. Deelishis declares her feelings for him, through tears. Flav decides to spend the night with Deelishis. Flav turns and bids farewell to Krazy but mistakenly calls her Deelishis. Deelishis and Flav retire to their room where eventually the two fall asleep together.
The next day New York and Bootz meet Flav at a winery where a women brings three horses for each of them. Bootz giddies up immediately but New York is hesitant and panics. Eventually all four of them go for a ride through the winery fields. They stop at a beautiful spread where they sip wine and Flav tells Bootz he is really feeling her. Naturally New York is angry. Tensions rise but soon all three wind up stomping grapes together. After they shower they leave the winery and go to the Pechanga Resort and Casino where Bootz and New York prepare for dinner. During the date all Flav's attention goes to Bootz. New York feels ignored and demands attention then storms off. Flav gives chase and asks her to spend the night with him, which New York later reveals was her plan. Bootz and New York then argue over dinner. After dinner they leave for their room and New York reveals that she again had sex with Flav. After the two dates they are all faced yet again with the elimination ceremony. The first clock goes to New York, the second goes to Deelishis and the third goes to Krazy, despite Flav's worries about her intentions, because he feels that they have a strong connection. Flav then eliminates Bootz because she wouldn't have sex with him until she is married. But before she leaves, she gives him her phone number for him to call her when "he gets sick of those hoes". |

9 | Family Flavors | October 1, 2006 | Flav decides to have each woman's parents come over so he can get to know them. However, if you remember from Season 1, New York's mother doesn't like Flav. This leads to a confrontation early on, and we discover that New York's mother(whose real name is revealed to be Michelle Rothschild-Patterson) will do anything to keep her daughter from being together with Flav, even fake a terminal illness. Flav then invites his six children (and two granchildren) over to get their input on who would make a better stepmother. Later on, he takes the women and their mothers over on separate dates: Deelishis and her parents go to a magic dinner show, Krazy, her mother, and her grandmother go to the hair salon, and Flav orders a wide assortment of soul food for New York and her parents. That night, during elimination, Flav eliminates Krazy because he suspects she is only on the show to further her singing career. At the end, he announces that the two remaining women (Deelishis and New York) are going to Placencia, Belize the next day. The show ends with New York's mother yelling, insisting that she is coming home right now. Whether she will succeed remains to be seen. | "Krazy" (Heather) |
10 | Oh No She Didn't! | October 8, 2006 | The highlights of the second season with unseen footage. The pivotal quote of perhaps the entire series took place during the unseen footage aired on this episode. New York's mother, Michelle, told Deelishis that her posterior was so large that she was capable of moving her bowels for an entire year. Deelishis had no comment. | |
11 | Flav Belize In Love | October 15, 2006 | The episode begins where Episode 9 ended, when Flav announced the two remaining girls were going to Placencia, Belize. New York's mother knocks on Flav's door and informs him that she is going to get her daughter out of the mansion, but gets nothing more than a rise from Flav and New York. New York's mother then ends up leaving, but not before she tells Flav that he can't marry her daughter (to which Flav responds that if they both want to, they will)
The next day, the two girls arrive in Placencia. The first girl to get her date is Deelishis (this angers New York, who spies on the date), who goes with Flav on the beach where they both get a massage in the day, and then on a poolside dinner in the evening. At the dinner, she lets him know several important things, including that she has been constantly hoping and praying that she would get on (at first because she liked the show, but eventually got to love him) and even sleep with a picture of Flav. However, she has her doubts as to whether he is really looking for love, or just filming a TV show. Flav reassures her that this is real, and he could care less about TV ratings. The two end up sharing a room at the hotel. After Deelishis, the next day it's New York's turn, and New York takes every possible opportunity to get at Deelishis that morning. But then Flav comes along, and New York goes on a small cruise liner. There is somewhat of a misunderstanding between the two when New York makes remarks that suggest that she wants to take control of his life & money, Flav thinks New York is sounding like her mother. However, later on New York apologizes for what she said, and decides to be willing to accept Flav's decision-making power. That night, Flav invites New York to his hotel room for a nightcap. At first she declines, but later on decides that she can't put up with the hurt going on inside, and eventually accepts. The following night, amid a rainstorm, the two girls are invited to the dock where Flav makes his final decision. Flav talks about his feelings for the two girls, both what he likes and what he dislikes. In the end, Flav decides that Deelishis is the winner. New York, angry that she lost again, starts a vulgarity-laced outburst towards Flav, resulting in the two trading insults. After flashing Flav, she says that she no longer has feelings for him and will someday find "another man who is right for me". Flav gives Deelishis a shiny gold grill to match his, and he says he can't wait to meet Deelishis' daughter Jasmine (as Flav also has a daughter with that name) |

12 | After the Lovin' | October 29, 2006 | The twenty-one women from season two reunite on stage. La La hosts once again. LaLa introduces them all (with the exception of Deelishis and New York who later arrive and Payshintz, who is not there at all. After this short introduction, LaLa asks Saaphiryi and H-Town to come up on stage and discuss the fight they had after showing tapes of it. Saaphiryi states H-Town threw flowers at her, starting it all. Saaphiryi later admits to having gone to anger management, in consideration to Flav saying she was too violent. She later says she got a certificate, which humors everyone. Later, Goldie from Season 1 makes an appearance. She asks Krazy why she thought New York was her friend and how Somethin is strong for dealing with what happened with her on the show. She also asks Bootz, Buckwild, and Like Dat to do their booty dancing again. After entertaining the crowd, LaLa, and the girls, Flavor Flav appears. LaLa asks Krazy to come up on stage, and she asks if Krazy thought being on the show helped or hurt her career. She says "it helped us all in our own way." Beatuful later asks her why did she come on the show. Krazy tries to avoid it, but Beatuful asks again, and Krazy admits that she did come on the show for that purpose. Next Krazy sings for Flav and appears to have both positive and negative receptions. Then, Flav asks Deelishis to come out. They state that they had been apart for 4 months so no one knew that he had stayed with her. He later asks what Nibblz thought of his decision. She says it was a great choice for him. Now, after only a few minutes, New York comes out, and Buckwild throws a white shoe of hers at New York that hits her weave a very little. New York and Buckwild confront eachother from a distance. LaLa says to Buckwild to respect her, since she never disrespected anyone, and that it almost hit her. After this warning, LaLa asks Bootz whether she still wanted to say anything. Bootz and New York confront eachother and during the time Bootz calls New York a drag queen. Bootz causes Deelishis to talk to New York, saying that New York should've been kinder to her mother. Deelishis and Buckeey run up to fight New York but security guards stop them. Buckeey sits back down and Bootz runs up, Buckwild following right behind her. Soon Saaphiri walks up and the security guards tell them to sit back down. Deelishis and Bootz sit back down and Deelishis gets right back up. Bootz runs back up and gets caught in midair. Then New York starts yelling that no one better touch her and security guards take her out while she is yelling this frantically. The girls sit back down and Bootz starts running towards the stage but a security guard stops her at the door. Deelishis also runs but is caught by a security guard. Deelishis, Buckwild, Bootz, and Buckeey are forcedly expelled. LaLa says it got too crazy, and asks New York her opinion. Soon Deelishis arrives again, talking to New York again, apologizing. They exchange compliments with eachother. New York then discusses her new show, I Love New York, and how she will look for her "one and only."
EXTRA: Deelishis and Flav do indeed still have a connection. There are some other things on the outakes of the show that were not put on the show at all. Here they are:
