[edit] Ragdoll Physics

The ragdoll physics from the prequel have been greatly updated. During the race, the driver may be thrown out of the car if slammed into a wall at a high speed. In the numerous Stunt minigames the goal is to shoot yourself out of the car and complete objectives like knocking down a set of bowling pins, hitting the designated spots on a dart board, score a field goal or fly trough flaming hoops. Players must use aerobatics to control the driver in-flight, but overusing it will increase drag, which will slow the driver down and possibly prevent him/her from reaching the designated target. If the driver falls short of the target, players can use the "nudge". This gives the driver a small upward boost and slightly reduces drag. In the Stone Skipping Stunt minigame, the players must use nudge just as the driver hits the surface of the water to skip the most efficiently and reach the furthest.

[edit] Trivia

  • The Flatmobile resembles the Batmobile from the Batman series. It is the fastest vehicle in the game and the only one that is capable of speeds over 200 MP/H. However, the Flatmobile is easily damaged when opponents crash into the car at a perpendicular angle, or if the player slams into a wall at top speed.
  • The Rocket car is playable on the Single Race by setting a cheat code. The car can reach over 200 MP/H. In the Mini-Game, however, it does not go over 200 M/PH and has a 3-speed manual transmission.
  • Some of the vehicles resemble real life vehicles. For example, the Lancea resembles the Datsun 240Z, Lentus, resembles the Chevrolet El Camino, the CTR and the CTR Sport resembles the Honda CRX. The Derby Vehicle, known as the Blaster XL resembles the Ford Bronco and the Canyon resembles the Dodge Ram SRT-10. The Street Vehicle known as Sunray resembles the Nissan Skyline GT-R and the Street Vehicle Road King resembles the S197/2005+ body style Ford Mustang GT.
