Flag of Saint Helena
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Flag of Saint Helena and Dependencies was adopted on October 4, 1984. It is a defaced Blue Ensign, i.e. blue with the flag of the UK in the upper hoist-side quadrant and the Saint Helena shield centered on the outer half of the flag. The shield features a rocky coastline and three-masted sailing ship.
The Flag is not used in the dependencies of Saint Helena. Tristan da Cunha, adopted its own flag in October 2002. Ascension Island uses the Union Flag.
