Fløyen or Fløyfjellet (originally written Fløien) is the most visited of the seven mountains that surround the city of Bergen, Norway. It has a funicular system Fløibanen that transports passengers from the centre of Bergen to the top in roughly 8 minutes. The funicular is used by tourists and citizens alike year-round. The kids (or anyone wanting to be a kid) ride it to the top in the wintertime to sled down the mountain-side.
The top of Fløyen is 425 metres above sea-level[citation needed].
