[edit] Brief history

The club was founded in May 19, 1909. For the first time Most's footballers wore they own setouts - shirts were motley. For the next year they wore white shirts with blue star and white shorts. After World War I the activities of club were give back. The first thing to do was to build their own football pitch. It had been done in 1921. But in July 1938 on an old pitch were build blocks of flats and a new stadium in Rehnova louka (Rehn's meadow) near the road to Litvínov was opened by a famous Czechoslovak goalkeeper František Plánička. Another part of football history in Most was ended by war, this time by World War II. During the occupation of Czechoslovak borderland - Sudetenland - activities were stopped. Renovation sliped after riddance in 1945. Most had started to play their home matches on a stadium of German ex-club DSK Brüx. Most played from 1950's to 1980's in a lower Czechoslovak leagues. Important goal was opening of a new stadium in 1961. Opening match was in May 24 against famous English club Liverpool FC. Liverpoll won 4:1. In 1990's club has been promoted to ČFL (3rd highest league in the Czech Republic). From 1996 Most's club has been sponsored by Mostecká uhelná společnost (MUS) and in season 1996/97 they had been promoted to 2.liga (2nd highest league in the Czech Republic). Finally after season 2004/2005 (when they won 2nd league) they has been promoted to Gambrinus Liga (1st league). After a tame autumn, manager Přemysl Bičovský was called off, and a new manager Zdeněk Ščasný helped the club to stay in Gambrinus Liga for the next season (they finished in 10th position).
