I had no idea this was even a beard. As I understood it, a 5 o'clock shadow was a shadow that appears directly underneath you such as the circular shaped shadows in bugs bunny cartoons that do not change shape regardless of where the character goes.Ziiv 15:11, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

the first line read: "A five o'clock shadow is beard growth visible. Indeed. late in the day on a man whose face was clean-shaven in the morning." I removed the "indeed". Apparently, a newcomer was just experimenting. Not trying to bite--but please, if you're going to experiment, use the sandbox--Ecyd girl 20:00, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
