Five Forty Aviation, trading as Fly540, is a Kenyan low-cost airline starting operations between Nairobi and Mombasa on November 24, 2006. It’s name refers to its price of Sh5,540 per adult return fare between the above mentioned cities.
Lonrho Africa is a major investor in the company, paying USD1.5 million for a 49% stake. Lonrho's Joint Executive Chairman and Chief Executive, David Lenigas, was appointed chairman of the company in February 2006.

The original scheduled flights include – except for freight flights – also scheduled passenger traffic between Nairobi and Mombasa. Its expansion plans includes flights on the Nairobi-Malindi-Lamu route. Also Kisumu has been said to become a destination in the near future. The business plan includes the addition of four international destinations in 2007 and a further four routes in 2008.

Five Forty Aviation has invested in two 48-passenger turbo prop ATR 42-320 aircrafts, purchased from South African company Executive Turbine. Two similar aircrafts are supposed to be added in 2007.
