Fiume Veneto is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Pordenone in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 90 km northwest of Trieste and about 7 km southeast of Pordenone. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 10,652 and an area of 35.8 km2.[1]
The municipality of Fiume Veneto contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cimpello, Pescincanna, Bannia, and Praturlone.
Fiume Veneto borders the following municipalities: Azzano Decimo, Casarsa della Delizia, Chions, Pordenone, San Vito al Tagliamento, Zoppola.
