FISIM
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
FISIM stands for Financial Intermediation Services Indirectly Measured. For example, the difference between interest paid by consumers and interest received by lenders through the value of financial intermediation to borrowers and/or lenders. This is one of the reasons why national accounts show poverty less accurate in comparison to survey data, as FISIM may show as 2.5% of national accounts measured consumption but it has marginal effect on poverty reduction.
