[edit] Page Merger
Why shouldn't this page be merged with Firestorm (comics)? -- Rocketgoat 01:57, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
Because it was separated from the Firestorm (comics) page before. Is like the Flash (comics) page, who in fact has becomed a big disambiguation for Jay Garrick, Barry Allen and Wally West. Firestorm III has become a definitely separated character from Firestorm I, who currently shares with the former Firestorm only the mantle. I'm surprised from the lack of a Martin Stein (comics) page, but I fully agree with the Jason Rusch (comics) page. DrTofu83 19:16, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
The merge seems a good Idea, but be careful from my perspective the atom page sucks. Maybe it be a good ideato make individual hero cards for Firestorm I and II.--T-man... ""worst vandal ever"" 01:25, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
Um actually the Pages were merged together in the beginning but I thought Jason was such a different character that he deserved his own page and made it. -- User:RyuKlinge 19:54, 30 January 2006 (UTC)
- It seems to me that a lot of the information in the Firestorm III section on the Firestorm (comics) page and in this page is redundant, though. He's certainly a different character, but I don't see why that prohibits him from sharing the page with the other Firestorm variations. That page is just "Firestorm", not "Ronnie Raymond" or "Ronnie Raymond and Martin Stein". As it is, these two pages are repeated in several of their categories. --Rocketgoat 05:33, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
==About Justice League Unlimited:== I'm not sure how much does DC cares about confusing people with different versions. The Bat-Embargo situation seems to be more consern about confusing tv viewers with diferent versions of the batvillains on The Batman series. And the idiotic Aquaman thing is kind of the same case. Then again, Speedy from Teen Titans, where Robin seems to be Dick, appeared on Justice League, where Dick is already Nightwing. And this happened just a week or so.
Not so important to the issue I'm addresing, but related observations: From my opinion, neither Timm neither Didio seem to care, if JLU characters match DC. On the first 2 seasons, Timm picked Steward to be Green Landtern, din't care about Aquaman and put Hawgirl instead... with the identity of Shayera, who in the comics is Hawkwoman. The injustice gangs kind of matched, but for the fifth season, they started a group of villains that looks just like current DC secret society line up but is called the Legion of Doom. Even more contradictory, on season 2, Grodd, the Leader of this Legion of Doom had a small group called the Secret Society... which worst, it didn't act as secret as the LoD and the SS current comic version act. It didn't acted in a seacret way at all. Nevermind it has most of the superfriend's original 13 (missing scarecrow ans riddler because of the batembargo and captain cold) a look alike base, the legion is tecnically a secret society and vice versa!
Timm's choices seem to be about two criterias: Rights availability and his own Impredictability: his first idea of the justice league lineup seemed the JLA: detroit line-up!, then Aquaman as a villain, Hades instead of Ares, no Hal Jordan good explanation, etc. But thats a point of view only.--T-man... [edit] Requested move
Jason Rusch (comics) → Jason Rusch – {There is no other Jason Rusch, so Wikipedia Comics Naming Conventions dictate that it should drop the "comics" part} --Rocketgoat 06:12, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
