First United Methodist Church

First United Methodist Church is a common name for the first United Methodist church established in a particular locality. Many First United Methodist Churches exist around the world.

The most notable FUMC, First United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas, is the birthplace of the United Methodist Church from the 1968 merger of the Evangelical United Brethren and the Methodist Church.
