First Market Bank is a bank headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. It was started in 1997 by Jim Ukrop, CEO of Ukrop's Super Market. Originally, about half of the bank sites were located within Ukrop's stores.

The name "First Market" came from the original name of the historic farmer's market at 17th Street in the neighborhood of Shockoe Bottom.

First Market Bank was also significant because its headquarters building at the Turning Basin is the first new development on Richmond's Canal Walk, opened in 1999.
