"First Date" is a single by the pop-punk band, blink-182 from their record Take off Your Pants and Jacket. The song relates all the insecurities and thoughts that come to a boy's mind when getting a first date with a girl. Like many other blink-182 songs, it is easy to relate for teenagers. It was written by Tom DeLonge (guitar and vocals), on the same night that Mark Hoppus (bass and vocals) wrote "The Rock Show".
