Firouzeh Vokhshouri was born on August 7, 1948 in Tehran, Iran.

She was married to Prince Asem bin Al Nayef whom she wed in 1974. They got divorced in 1985. She held the title of Her Royal Highness Princess Firouzeh al Asem of Jordan, from the date of her marriage until May of 2004, when she lost the style of HRH by order of King Abdullah. [citation needed] The correct form of address is now Princess Firzoueh Vokshouri.

The Princess has been an attaché at the Jordanian Embassy in Madrid since 1992.

Her daughter, Her Royal Highness Princess Noor bint Asem bin Nayef is married to Prince Hamzah bin al Hussein, the son of the late King Hussein and his fourth wife Queen Noor. Their Nikah was celebrated on August 29, 2003 at al-Baraka Palace and the Zifaf was celebrated on May 27, 2004 at Zahran Palace (both locations are in Amman). She became Her Royal Highenss Princess Noor Hamzah at the Nikah ceremony.
