Firestorm is a 1998 film starring Howie Long as a smokejumper. The plot is about a group of convicts who stage an escape with the help of an ex-firefighter turned arsonist on the outside.

The film was widely criticized in the wildland firefighting community for technical inaccuracies such as depicting smokejumpers freefalling, and got a lukewarm reception at the box office.
