The term Fireman or Fire Officer can refer to:
- A firefighter. Traditionally, the term fireman denoted someone who was employed to fight fires. Now the unisex term firefighter is sometimes preferred, as fireman is an ambiguous term and can refer to either firefighters or railroad/naval engineers.
- A Firefighter who has obtained a certain rank (normally Sub Officer or Watch Commander or above or whom is an officer who works within the Fire Safety and Inspections department of a Fire Authority / Fire and Rescue Service
