Fioravanti (soft drink)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fioravanti is one of the oldest soft drinks in the world. It was first sold in 1878 in Ecuador. It was acquired by the Coca-Cola Company in 1991. It is a fruit-flavored, carbonated, soft drink available in apple and strawberry flavors. In the summer of 2001, a grape flavor was added.
In Ecuador it is almost a tradition to drink Fiovaravanti. It is commonly known as fiora manazana (apple) or fresa (strawberry).
Due to the high number of Ecuatorian inmigrants in Spain, Coca-Cola has decided to bring strawberry-flavored Fioravanti to Spain, for a three-month test starting in mid-October 2006.[1]
