From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Filmfare Best Male Playback Award is given by the Filmfare magazine as part of its annual Filmfare Awards for Hindi films.
Although the awards started in 1953, awards for the best playback singer category started in 1958. This was common for both male and female. It was from 1967 onwards that there were separate categories for male and female playback singers.
