I have a PhD in Mathematical Physics -- a course of study which
is a combination of both mathematics and physics -- i.e.:

  • the study of mathematics which is relevant to physics -- also
  • the study of physics from a mathematical point of view.

My special interests, with regard to my profession, are
Quantum Physics, and Lie Algebras, and Shor's Algorithm.

Other professional interests include Relativity and the foundations
of Mathematics (including Set Theory, Nonstandard Analysis,
and aspects of Category Theory and Homological Algebra).
