Fighter pilot

A fighter pilot is a military pilot of fighter planes. Fighter pilots fly under government contract for the defence of countries. Their tasks involve combat operations, including direct hostile engagements and support operations. Fighter pilots undergo specialised training, often with weapons operation and defensive maneuvering. Some fighter pilots are also civilian pilots.
