Fight The Bear (1998) |
Pre-Teen Sex Machine (1999) |
Fight The Bear is the first full-length album from the Simi Valley, CA based punk rock band Midget Fan Club. The title of the album was derived from a Saturday Night Live sketch featuring Mike Myers as the head of Columbia Pictures presenting "wacky new television shows for the American audience to consume." (Full text of the sketch can be found here.)
This release secured the band a deal with Imperfekt Records and led to the production of Pre-Teen Sex Machine and was the beginning of a long-term working relationship with Anthony Stubelek (who would later join the band on lead guitar.)
