Fido is a Canadian zombie comedy film released in 2006. It was directed by Andrew Currie and written by Dennis Heaton, Chris Heaton, Robert Chomiak and Andrew Currie. It was produced by Lions Gate Films, Anagram Pictures, British Columbia Film Commission and Téléfilm Canada.
This film premiered at the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival. It was also shown at the 2006 Vancouver International Film Festival. Its expected release date is March 9, 2007.

Timmy Robinson's best friend in the whole wide world is a six-foot tall rotting zombie named Fido. But when FIDO eats the next-door neighbor, Mom and Dad hit the roof, and Timmy has to go to the ends of the earth to keep Fido a part of the family. A boy-and-his-dog movie for grown ups, "FIDO" will rip your heart out.
