Festival of the Lion King
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Festival of the Lion King is a musical stage show in Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom and Hong Kong Disneyland. The show features four live singers, numerous acrobats, dancers and audio-animatronic parade-style floats of Simba, Pumbaa, a giraffe and an elephant. It bears little resemblance to the Broadway musical based on the movie.
[edit] Animal Kingdom
The show is in an enclosed theatre in Camp Minnie Mickey. Guests sit in four sections, each designated with an animal name: Warthog, elephant, giraffe and lion. Guests are asked to make a noise corresponding to their animal at certain times during the show.
[edit] Hong Kong Disneyland
The show is featured in "Theater in the Wild" in Adventureland.
