Google reveals the following counts for his name:

  • Fernando Corbató - 112
  • Fernando J. Corbató - 386

and I know he prefers the more formal version, so I'm going to move it there. Noel 20:21, 14 Sep 2003 (UTC)

[edit] Corbató's Law?

There are only a few Google hits for Corbató's Law[1], but I know I saw it come up in a book (which I could track down). Basically it states that the number of lines of code someone can write in a day is roughly constant regardless of language and so abstraction is required to build complex software. It disserves mention in this article and maybe in an article of its own. Comments? —BenFrantzDale 16:13, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
