Ferrovías is a passenger commuter railway company in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Its name is a combination of the Spanish language words for "rail routes". From its base at Retiro Station in the barrio Retiro section of the city, Ferrovías operates numerous trains each hour into the northern Buenos Aires suburbs to the town of Villa Rosa and multiple points between.

A total of 22 stations are located along the company's 54 kilometre-long railway line. The journey along the entire length of the line takes roughly one hour and twenty minutes. During peak hours, trains run approximately ever 8 minutes and an estimated 40 million passengers are transported each year. [1]
