[edit] About Fermanagh NISC

Fermanagh Northern Ireland Supporters Club was formed by a small group of supporters in April 2005, the clubs first meeting was held in the Ely centre in Enniskillen on 15th April 2005 and a constitution and interim officers and committee where appointed. The club attracted new members through out 2005, and by April 2006 after having applied to become official members of the Amalgamation of Northern Ireland Supporters Clubs, was accepted into the Amalgamation at a meeting in the Royal Hotel in Cookstown, County Tyrone.

The club attracts members from all over Fermanagh and surrounding counties. Members have represented the club at matches worldwide, including competitive matches in the 2006 World Cup Qualifiers, the current 2008 Euro Qualifiers and friendly fixtures.

Below is a summary of the constitution adopted by the club at the first meeting in April 2005 and ratified at the second meeting several months later, the constitution is always evolving as new situations arise. The current constitution can be viewed on the NISC website and should be considered the current version.

1 The club be established for the purpose of supporting the Northern Ireland international football team, and to bring together like minded people to enjoy friendship and social activities with other Northern Ireland supporters in Fermanagh and the surrounding area.
2 The Fermanagh NISC is open to all genuine Northern Ireland football fans, regardless of religious, cultural, racial or political background, gender, age, sexual orientation or disability. This is wholly in keeping with the principles of the Irish Football Associations football for all campaign, which the club wholeheartedly supports and promotes.
3 The business of the club shall be conducted by the Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and members of the committee.
4 The secretary may summon a meeting of the club at any time, with each member to have at least 48 hours notice.
5 In the absence of the chairman a committee member will take the chair and proceed with the business of the club. At meetings the minutes of the last meeting or committee meeting, shall be read, and when confirmed, signed by the chairman and counter signed by the secretary.
6 All questions shall be decided by a majority of votes of the members present, the Chairman to have the casting vote on an equal division. A ballot is to be used when demanded by a member, otherwise votes are to be taken by a show of hands.
7 If there is an objection to a candidate becoming a member, a vote will take place, this can be a secret ballot and a majority vote to exclude.
8 The club shall have the power to exclude any member who may be considered injurious to the club, provided that two thirds of the members decide at a specially summoned meeting to consider the matter.
9 Any officer or member whose club membership is not fully paid up to date at the club election, will not be eligible to hold office in the club.
10 The officers of the club shall be chosen annually for a period of twelve months. The election to take place in November and installation of officers to take place the following January.
11 The secretary will notify all members by email or circular for all club meetings, keep a record of all proceedings, read minutes of meetings and read all correspondence.
12 The treasurer shall receive all money for the club and keep regular accounts of all his receipts and expenditure and only make payments on a vote of the club. He shall if called upon give a balance sheet of club accounts
