[edit] Biography

Ferid is the Commander of the Queen's Knights of Falena. He is a powerful swordsman who came from the Island Nations, north of Falena. He is also husband to Arshtat, and father of Lym and Freyjadour.

Ferid came to Falena about 16 years before the start of the game, when the Sacred Games for Arshtat is about to take place. Many people thought that the Godwins or Barows would come out as the winner of the Sacred Games and marry Arshtat, but the so-called barbaric swordsman from the Island Nations, Ferid, exhibit his prowess in battle, winning the Sacred Games, successfully becoming the new Commander of The Queen's Knights and also marrying Arshtat.

After becoming a Commander, he invites his best friend Georg to Falena and assigns him as a new Queen's Knight.

At the Sacred Games for Lym he is quite interested on the swordsman from Kanakan, Belcoot. He orders Freyjadour to go meet him and find out what kind of man he is.

At the final match, he hopes that Belcoot will win the Sacred Games, but Belcoot is drugged by Marina, an inn maid in love with him, making him unable to fight. Both him and Arshtat had been expecting the Godwins to do something similar to win the games, and both Sialeeds and Freyjadour tell them about Gizel's plot to win the Sacred Games in order to marry Lymsleia, the future queen, in which case they could take over the Sun Palace and Falena itself. Ferid is unable to do anything with the information since it is speculation and there is no solid proof, since Belcoot does not admit that he was drugged for Marina's sake.

In the Sun Palace Ferid invited Georg to his room. They talk about the Godwin plot, and he asked Georg to kill Arshtat if she ever lost control to the Sun Rune and Ferid is unable to stop her.

At the night of the banquet, the Godwins attack the Sun Palace. Ferid, Georg, and Galleon stay at the Audience Chamber to protect Arshtat. They fought bravely and were not gaining any ground. When Ferid was about to be killed by one of Godwin's soldiers, Arshtat used her Sun Rune to protect Ferid and kill the soldier. This caused Arshtat to lose control, and Ferid was unable to make her snap out of it, and was dissintegrated by the Sun Rune. Georg then went on to kill Arshtat after she threatened him with destroying the whole of Falena utilizing the Sun Rune.
