Feral (Mutant X)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the televison show Mutant X Genomex created four classes of new mutants: feral, elemental, molecular and psionic. Feral New Mutants have had their DNA spliced with animal DNA resulting in either physical or mental characteristics of the animal. They are usually athletic.
[edit] Subclasses
(listed in order from the most common.)
Feline: The most common type of feral, Felines have had their DNA spliced with a cat, tiger, lion, puma, leopard, cheetah, or etc. They are superhumanly fast and agile, and can alter the appearance of their eyes from human to cat-like. IMPORTANT: Feral felines are prone to hypnosis and have a fear of fire.
Ursines: Feral Ursines have had their DNA spliced with a bear, and are superhumanly strong.
Canines: Feral Canines have had their DNA spliced with a dog, wolf, coyote, fox, etc. They are expert trackers, due to their sense of smell, and have amazing stamina.
Reptus: Feral Reptus have had their DNA spliced with a lizard, snake, alligator, etc. They can often climb straight up walls like a gecko or spit venom like a cobra.
Porcine: Feral Porcines have had their DNA spliced with a pig, boar, hog.
Cervine: Feral Cervines have had their DNA spliced with deer.
Amphibians: Feral Amphibians have had their DNA spliced with a frog, toad, etc. They may be able to jump incredibly high or may possess a prehensile tongue like a frog.
Piscis: Feral Piscis have had their DNA spliced with a fish so they can breathe underwater.
Insectum: The rarest of ferals, Insectums are spliced with the DNA of an insect or an arachnid. They are prone to acts of violence, as their mammalian physiology fights with their insect powers. They can be highly venomous.
