[edit] Doctor Who episode pages
Hi! Thanks for adding info to the pages for upcoming Doctor Who episodes. Unfortunately, some of what you added hasn't been officially confirmed or reported by a reliable source. We can't put speculation about what might be in an upcoming episode here — no matter how reasonable it may seem based on things we do know. All we can do is put the evidence (from newspaper reports and reliable fan sites like Outpost Gallifrey) on the page and allow readers to draw their own conclusions. I hope you understand, and please continue to help improve our Doctor Who pages! —Josiah Rowe (talk • contribs) 23:58, 24 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Adding Images to my articles
Can anybody help me download images from Doctor Who to my edited webpages?
[edit] Doctor who untelevised Season 27
Doctor who untelevised Season 27 is now being discussed for deletion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Doctor who untelevised Season 27. Please contribute to the discussion there. Do also make sure not to remove this new different deletion notice which is needed to point people to the discussion. NickelShoe 04:18, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Deleting Doctor who untelevised season 27
I wrote this article as a brief page for anyone who wondered what would have happened. I understand it is very short, please consider putting it on an episode guide page of Doctor Who and please note that I have deeper research to be done on this article.
Thanks, hope you reply, Fenric.
[edit] Doctor Who pictures
We appreciate you trying to add pictures to the various articles, but they need to be both laid out properly and in the right format. Take a look at the style guidelines in the Wikiproject page. Basically, we only should have one screencap per page to stay firmly within fair use conditions, and the screen captures for the new series should be 350px wide and in the right place.
In the process, I also reverted stuff that isn't confirmed yet but speculation or rumour (no matter how strong), as Josiah did previously. Hope you understand this. --khaosworks (talk • contribs) 19:53, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Bill Wynne's Doctor Who
I'm sorry to tell you that your articles on the fan-produced Doctor Who series have been deleted as they do not meet Wikipedia's standards of notability. Fan productions aren't usually major enough to be considered deserving of their own articles. --khaosworks (talk • contribs) 22:40, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image Tagging Image:Android.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Android.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then there needs to be an argument why we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then it needs to be specified where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, consider reading fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, consider checking that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Hetar 07:52, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
