"Femme Fatale" is a song by The Velvet Underground which appears on their first album The Velvet Underground and Nico, a collaboration with singer Nico. The song is reported to have been written by Lou Reed about "Warhol superstar" Edie Sedgwick at the request of Andy Warhol. The track was released as a single in December 1966.
