Felix of Aquitaine

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Felix (died circa 676) was the patrician of Toulouse and then Duke of Aquitaine from 660 to his own death. He had his seat at Toulouse and was probably a vassal of the Franks.

In 660, he replaced Boggis as duke and ruled over Aquitaine and Gascony, which had lost independence after a rebellion of 645. Around 670, he gave Gascony to Lupus I.
