Felix Dexter is an English actor, comedian, and writer.

Born in St Kitts in the West Indies, he moved to London with his family at the age of seven.

He has won several awards for his stand-up.

Dexter's characters and comic writing have been featured on the BBC's The Lenny Henry Show and The Real McCoy.

Dexter has also played more serious roles in dramas such as The Bill and Casualty

He has appeared on Absolutely Fabulous as Saffron's lover, John Johnston, and on the BBC docu soap Grumpy Old Men where over 35 year olds complain about modern life and other people.

Dexter has appeared in a season of three of Shakespeare's Late Plays in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon. In 2006 he will be starring in One flew over the Cuckoo's nest with Christian Slater and Alex Kingston in London's West End.

Dexter is a resident of north London.
