Fedor Fedorov (hockey)

Fedor Fedorov, (born June 11, 1981 in Apatity, Soviet Union), (now Russia) is an ice hockey player. On July 25th, 2006, he signed with the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl of the Russian League, having previously been playing for the Hartford Wolf Pack, the minor league affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Rangers. On October 7th, 2005, the New York Rangers traded Jozef Balej and a conditional draft selection to the Vancouver Canucks for Fedor Fedorov. Before that he played 15 NHL games with the Vancouver Canucks, and 116 games with the Manitoba Moose, the minor league affiliate of the Canucks. On June 24th, 2001, he re-entered the NHL draft and was drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the 3rd round (66th overall). He was originally drafted by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 6th round (182nd overall) on June 21st, 1997.

In his career in the NHL, he has played 18 games and scored 2 points (0 goals + 2 assists) and got 14 PIM.

He is the younger brother of the NHL All-Star Sergei Fedorov of the Columbus Blue Jackets

Fedor Federov is also noted for his style of pop songs that became available for download on his website www.fedorovbrothers.com in the early twenty-first century.
