Federica Pellegrini (born August 5, 1988) is an Italian swimmer.
Born in Mirano (province of Venice), she won the silver medal in the women's 200m freestyle at the 2004 Athens Olympics: this made her the second Italian swimmer to reach the podium in women's Olympic competitions, 32 years after Novella Calligaris. She said she could win the gold medal as well, because she controlled for all the race her side-runner without noticing Camelia Potec was overcoming her in a far lane. During semifinals she also settled the national record with the overall best time of the event — (1:58.02). She also competed for 100m freestyle but did not qualify.
She was second in the women's 200m freestyle at the 2005 World Aquatics Championships in Montreal, Canada as well.
