Federal Council refers to one of the following:

  • The Federal Council (Bundesrat in German) a political institution in several countries:
  1. Bundesrat of Germany, the upper house of the German federal parliament
  2. Federal Council of Austria, the upper house of the Austrian federal parliament
  3. Swiss Federal Council, the federal government of Switzerland
  • Federal Council, the governing body or Central Executive Committee of a political party, comprised of its officers and other representative elected members
  1. New Democratic Party of Canada Federal Council, one of three tiers of party governance
  2. Green Party of Canada Federal Council, the Party's elected national executive
