FC Banants is an Armenian football (soccer) team, playing in the capital, Yerevan. They play at Armenian Premier League. Banants has won two Armenian championships in 1998 and 2000.
Banants was founded in 1992 the Abovyan city before the start of the first Armenian National Championship. In the same year, Banants has won the first Armenian Cup. In 1995, the club has moved to Yerevan.
Banants finished second in Armenian Football (Soccer) Championship in 2006 season, with many foreign players from different countries and a foreign manager.
