FC Almaty are a Kazakhstani football based in Almaty. They are current members of the Kazakhstan Super League. The club was formed as FC Tcesna in 2003, changing their name when they won promotion in their first season. They play in a red and white strip. They play their home games at Almaty Central Stadium.
