Fayetteville FireAntz

The Fayetteville FireAntz are a professional ice hockey team, playing in the SPHL. They were created in 2001. Their home games are played at Cumberland County Crown Coliseum; generally they lead the league in home attendance, drawing approximately 3,000 people per game.

For the upcoming 2006-2007 season, their head coah will be John Marks. John Marks is a former NHL player and has been coaching for over 20 years.

In the 2005-2006 season, the FireAntz had a record of 31-19-6.
