Fatima Bhutto

Fatima Bhutto (born 29 May 1982) is a young Pakistani poet who came to fame after the appearance of her first book, a collection of poems, titled Whispers of the Desert. She was only 15 years old when the collection was published.
Fatima is the daughter of the late Murtaza Bhutto and his Afghan wife Fauzia. Mir Murtaza Bhutto was killed in a police target killing by the Pakistani police, which is famous for its notorious activities, in 1996 in Karachi, during the premiership of his sister, Benazir Bhutto. She is the grand-daughter of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Bhutto has done undergraduate from Columbia University New York, and also studied at the Karachi American School. She lives with her step-mother Ghinwa Bhutto and her brother Zulfiqar Bhutto. She is also writting articles in Pakistani newspapers.
