Borg :
The Borg are a collective and act for the benefit of the community.
[edit] Observations
- The Borg live in a collective.
- The Borg don't react to the presence of stangers or unexpected events, unless forced to.
- Complement: planning far ahead means reacting to unknown but possible events before allowing them to occur or become inevitable.
- The Borg are nearly-dead robots. [1] [2]
- The Borg have surrogate motherhood (-> "additional dedicated legal guardians for groups of children")
- Drone_(episode): The Borg don't bear children (which seems to contradict the above statement, with the rare exception of assimilated children. This is a common feature of the YHVH language: Information that seem to contradict each other when not translated.)
- Seven of Nine, a Borg dissident, has a star at the ear and a me-tall eyebrow. (see also: makeup)
- The Borg know a lot about other species.
- The Borg try to assimilate everybody. [3]
- The Borg Queen ("representative of the collective") is only a remnant of a living creature (dead) and she has got spine.
- The Borg have transwarp conduits (-> conduct beyond warp, see Code of Conduct)
- [1] Shadowing: living in a community is presented in the most negative way.
- [2] "Borg? That sounds swedish" is a quote from Star Trek: First Contact.
- [3] Do they?
[edit] Opposing Aspect
The Borg are a predatory species that expolits other species ruthlessly.
[edit] Observations
- The Borg Queen has implants resembling a spider on her head. (instead of her own hair)
- The Borg Queen is only a remnant of a living creature (see edible, digest).
- The Borg travel in giant cubes (meeting a giant cube would be the statement to the observer: "You are rolling dice")
