Can someone explain what this article has to do with the title? -- Zoe

The TV show was called 'Fast Forward'. - Richardcavell 02:16, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Clean-up tag

I've removed the clean-up tag, as the rambling list of every sketch a contibutor could remember has been removed, and the spelling, grammar and layout have been fixed. CLW 07:02, 26 October 2005 (UTC)

An anon editor has started to reinsert lists of sketches, which could lead to a rather unencylopedic article so I've removed them. I'm not convinced that even the remaining sketches should be here unless anyone can say what's so notable about them. However, I won't delete them yet - I'll give other editors a chance to justify their inclusion on this talk page. CLW 11:32, 3 November 2005 (UTC)
As no other points of view have been put forward in a week, I'll remove this section. CLW 10:08, 10 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Cast list

I fear that this cast list is going the same way as the former rambling list of sketches - all that is needed is the names of the cast, not a list of every character that each of these cast members played. I'm therefore removing the character details. CLW 12:37, 27 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Channel surfing

--AnotherPaul 06:40, 13 July 2006 (UTC) The name 'Fast Forward' is related to the show being a video tape. Fast Forward was not quite channel surfing in format; rather the idea as I recall was that the show was the equivalent of a video tape reused scores of times so that various taped programs and ads remained but many had been partially rubbed over by subsequent tapings. At least one series had the opening credit featuring a 'copyright warning' as on prerecorded video tapes (but with humourous comments) being skipped over on 'fast forward'.
