Faster Than the Speed of Night is an album by Bonnie Tyler released in 1983. Her fifth album, and her most successful, it includes her No.1 hit, "Total Eclipse of the Heart."
In April of 1983, Faster Than the Speed of Night was the No.1 Album on the UK music charts.
Faster Than the Speed of Night shot straight into the UK album charts at No.1, making Tyler the first ever female artist to have achieved this, earning a Guinness Record. Tyler earned herself a Grammy nomination for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance.
