Why do you think this is an advertisement? I think the article is very true and FAR is the best manager for me (I did not write the original article). I am actually using it for coding PHP up to this moment. With plugins FAR has support for text coloring, complex search and replace (including perl regexps, batch search and replace, etc.). I don't know a better manager, it is also free. Sorry, this also might sound like an ad to you, but what can anybody gain from an ad like that???

FAR for Windows is as important as Volkov Commander for DOS or Midnight Commander for GNU/Linux and Unixen. Thanks to its license in Russia it is the second thing you reach for after installing the system.–Gnomz⁰⁰⁷(?) 22:56, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
