Farm to Market Road 173 or FM 173 is a two-lane, state-maintained highway that connects the small community of Joy to SH 148, which connects to Henrietta and Jacksboro in Jack County. It was designated in June 1945 and is the shortest farm to market road in Clay County and one of the shortest in Texas.
