Far Rockaway Bus Depot

The Far Rockaway Bus Depot, situated on Rockaway Freeway in Arverne, Queens, The Far Rockaway Bus Depot continues to be owned by Green Bus Lines Inc. On January 9, 2006, MTA Bus took over bus routes that had previously been operated by Green Bus Lines. While the bus garage continues to be owned by Green Bus Lines, it is leased to MTA Bus. The Far Rockaway Depot has two storage lots and a small maintenance facility.Far Rockaway depot also recently received a depot logo

The B100 is operated out of Far Rockaway Depot on Sundays and holidays only, when Spring Creek Depot is closed.Also the Q8,Q11 and the Q41 is split with JFK depot.These are all Far Rockaway routes.
