FARICE-1 is a submarine cable connecting Iceland, Faroe Islands and Scotland. 80% is owned by Iceland and 20% by Faroe Islands

The landing points are:

  • Seyðisfjörður, Iceland, backhauled to Reykjavík
  • Funningsfjörður, Faroe Islands, backhauled to Tórshavn
  • Dunnet Bay, Scotland, UK, backhauled to Edinburgh
