Family Home Entertainment (FHE) is an American home video company, founded in 1982, which releases children's and family-oriented programming, most notably the popular 1980s Marvel/Sunbow television series The Transformers, G.I. Joe, Jem, ThunderCats and the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series. It also has a theatrical release division, FHE Pictures, established in 2002; its first release was Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie. FHE was the distributor for most of the seasonal Rankin-Bass TV specials, the others being Vestron Video and Lightning Video, two now-defunct home video distributors.
FHE, since 1990, was a division of Live Entertainment, which has since been acquired by Lions Gate Films.
