- as a hybird of the Red Line and the purple of the Commuter Rail.
A saw an explanation elsewhere that indigo was chosen as a hybrid of blue and purple. Personally, I think it's used because it's purple by a different name. Any reliable sources? -- Beland 04:27, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
