Despite the relative youth of the institution Fairfield University alumni are achieving considerable success and making significant contributions in the fields of business, law, medicine, education, social justice and athletics. Fairfield University counts amongst its alumni a former President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, a former Dean of the Georgetown University Law Center, a President of a mission helping Haitian street children, the Chief Judge of the Connecticut Appellate Court, the Connecticut Senate Majority Leader, a former President of the Medical College of Georgia, an Emmy Award-winning news anchor and leaders of several major Fortune 500 corporations and Wall Street financial institutions.
