Hiya!

You're currently visiting the page of FaerieInGrey, known in life as Meghan Buckley, your average 17-year-old girl.

If you've noticed, I've much overused the userboxes because they were just so fun. I think they present anything you might care to know pretty clearly.

Really I am. I appreciate any comments, questions, reflections, suggestions, haiku concerning my inability to make the pages look right, or anything else that you should care to leave me. Don't worry about offending me or scaring me off - it means a lot to me when someone takes the time to correct me so I can do things correctly :)

[edit] Why I Joined Wikipedia

Wikipedia has been a very helpful site to me, as well as many others, in school and other matters. I truly enjoy proofreading and adding to Wikipedia, in an attempt to give back to the site. I have joined a number of WikiProjects which I hope I can make myself useful in.

What do I bring to the Wikipedia community? Hopefully something or other. I'm currently entering my senior year of Duxbury High School and getting into the oh-so fun process of college applications.

My major interests are languages and linguistics, and I hope someday to be a professional translator. I am currently enrolled in French, Spanish, Russian, and American Sign Language courses with hopes of finding courses in Mandarin and Arabic in the near future.

My French is fluent (more or less), and my Spanish is conversational and improving. All other languages are in the "mediocre to bad" category, but I am constantly learning :)

In work experience, I can certainly provide anecdotal if known all-too-well about being a dishwasher or a low-level food-prep employee, but precious little else.

My kitten Bailey

I've been looking at Middlebury for college (wish me luck!), which would mean a move to Vermont at least, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

I have a boyfriend named Jay from Las Vegas, Nevada who is now back home after having stayed with me for the summer and a little orange kitty named Bailey, as well as a Betta named Inferno.

I don't sleep much, so it's easy to catch me online at 3AM-6AM EST. Plenty of time for Wikipedia as well!

[edit] Interests and Hobbies

I love the computer, which is probably obvious. I spend a good deal of my free time online, including on the game website Neopets.com. If you are shaking your head, please stop. It's much more fun than it seems on the outside.

I am very interested in politics and identify as a Libertarian, which might explain some of my other philosophies. I am known to lose my temper in political debates, so they aren't the best thing to start with me and I try to avoid them myself.

I am also interested in religions and topics regarding them, particularly polytheistic and nature-based religions.

I love to bake and cook, and a part-time job as a chef would be ideal for me while seeking qualification as a translator or language teacher.

I love music, and have very varied musical tastes. It would be much more difficult to find music that I don't like. My favourite bands include:
